The Bethlehem Central United Employees Association
The Bethlehem Central United Employees Association is an Affiliate of
NYSUT. The Association is a non-profit organization formed to carry out
the following purposes:
- To promote free discussion among members of the Association
and formulate policies regarding the solution of problems and questions
which affect their welfare.
- To organize and conduct meetings
devoted to the discussion of all matters which would promote better
understanding among its members and its employer.
- To
represent the Non-instructional employees of the BCSD by meeting with
the Board of Education or its representative to negotiate conditions of
employment.
- To promote a free exchange between this and
other groups to promote a better understanding of problems and to give
and receive assistance in areas where such assistance will be of mutual
benefit.

BCUEA Scholarship Opportunities for Graduating Seniors
Friday, February 03, 2012 -The Bethlehem
Central United Employees Association is offering 4 scholarships of $500 each to
graduating seniors planning on furthering their education after high school.
Two of these, The Larry Prater Memorial Scholarships, are specifically
offered to graduating seniors who plan to continue their education at a 2-year
community college, business, technical or trade school. The other
two, The Katherine “Katy” DePorte Scholarships, are open to graduating seniors
attending any college. Both Scholarships are open to graduating
seniors of Bethlehem
Central High
School or any child of a BCUEA member who will be a
graduating senior this year. Applications are available in the
Counseling
Center at Bethlehem Central
High School, from any
BCUEA member, or you may download one from the
documents page of this website.
Applications must be completed and returned directly to the Counseling Center of
Bethlehem Central High School, 700 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY
12054, no later than March 16, 2012.
